Black Kitchen Trend

Image Via Skona Hem

This has to be one of my All Time Favourite Kitchens featured above. Using a fab subway tile splashback, matching back with the Black cabinets looks so fresh and clean. I love it. The Scandinavian feel about this kitchen is beautiful with strong clean lines. When watching The Block Triple Threat, Dea & Daz had a fabulous kitchen which featured black glam wall tiles very similar to the below, however smaller. Just Beautiful.

A MUST Flash Sale for Stylists and lovers of Treasure!
If you haven't heard of Silbella Court from The Society Inc., then you should have!
This gem of a woman is an amazing creative director, stylist, colour extraordinaire and so much more...

I first came across Sibella Court when I was working in buying and going on a buying trip to the States which included New York at the time.

Sibella had released a beautiful book called The Stylists Guide to NYC - such an inspiring a great book for anyone who loves exploring and finding new treasures in a New City.

She is an award winning author with many other fabulous books under her belt which include - ‘Etcetera etc: creating beautiful interiors with the things you love’, ‘Nomad: bringing your travels home’ and ‘Bowerbird: creating beautiful interiors with the things you collect’. Her latest book, ‘Gypsy’ A World of Colour & Interiors launched globally. I have every single one and each one I can honestly say that I continuously go back and feel inspired. Her Colour Palettes are to die for.

There is so much more to write about with Sibella however I think if you check her website out, you will find a little trove of treasure and be insipred beyond anything - The Society Inc

Room of the Day

Image Via

I will be posting a 'Room of the Day' as a great way to start the week for some inspiration for your own renovation or to help you decide on a colour scheme, homewares theme or even layout etc.

Above is a great Lounge/Dining Room which features wood, exposed brickwork and floor tiling. So beautiful and works so well. Leather is also a huge trend at the moment, so featuring a special leather item is the way to go.

Hope it inspires you today!

Linen Love.

Image Via

After watching the Block Triple Threat featuring Darren and Dea's bedroom, it made me think about all things linen and this beautiful trend. I love this fabric in general. However Linen Fabric is so natural, beautiful, luxurious and so inviting. Attached are some of my favourite styled pics of Linen.

The Blues Have It...

So for a while now, Grey has definitely been the 'new' neutral Colour of the Interior World.

I love grey and all it has to offer, however as soon as one colour moves into your home, another colour trend is on it's way.

We have seen alot of beautiful Blues this season. Indigo Blue, Navy Blue, Teals and Turquoise. The Influence of Shibori has also had a great impact on this colour trend. All gorgeous and can easily tie back to a beautiful Indian and Moroccan theme. You can also see alot of the blues mixed back with a pop of yellow, red and orange. Looks wonderful!

If you look at nature and it's blissful blue skies, this can help guide you on how you can tie blues back with a beautiful neutral and natural colour palette. It also looks fab with a white contrasting wall.

Here are some of my favourites Blue Inspirational photos.
